About “Behind the Coaching”
Behind the Coaching was founded January 2, 2025 by Joe Tamargo Jr. We’re a community that writes and publishes articles and content that appreciate, highlight, and honor the history of sports coaches on all levels including:

and so many more.
Behind the Coaching focuses on how sports coaches contributions have impacted the game and their respective sport(s). There’s hundreds and thousands of writers and publishers that constantly push out content about the players themselves, however, rarely do they dig deep into the other side of the bench.

The Inspiration
“I’ve always enjoyed creating content for audiences who crave the information they need. It’s always frustrating and time consuming to research topics that lead to dead-ends or no road at all. Instead of waiting around for the day to come, I’m taking it in my own hands and being a contributor.
I also always been a fan of the behind the scenes work of things, I’m always interested in how things work. In this case, basketball players aren’t born professionals, they climb the ranks while learning from some of the greatest leaders, teachers, and motivators. Coaches don’t nearly get enough credit as players do, so this is a platform where not only I get to inform my fellow basketball and sports fans of what coaches are all about, but it’s to also show appreciation for their contributions to the game.” -

As Behind the Coaching is growing, we started off being known for our basketball coach coverage, now we cover several sports and its coaches.
